Mauro Vaiani

Mauro Vaiani works for the Municipality of Florence as an e-government specialist. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in Geopolitics at the University of Pisa in 2013 and is now doing independent research.

Mr. Vaiani has been an ICT technician, a grassroots social activist, writer and blogger. His main geopolitical interests are empowerment and the strengthening of local democracy and economy along with federal reform in Italy, Europe and beyond.
